What began as a shared dream between kindred spirits has blossomed into a vibrant hub where community, learning, and healing meet.

As The Hallow continues to evolve, we honour the beautiful contributions of Carolyn and Pat, who have both journeyed forward on new paths in their spiritual and personal lives. Their time, energy, and wisdom helped shape The Hallow into the warm, welcoming space it is today, and their presence will always be felt here with gratitude.

Stefany Barker

Reiki Master Teacher | Space Clearing | Crystals

I’m Stefany, and my connection to the natural world began early. Crystals, plants, and animals have been woven into my everyday life for as long as I can remember, and that lifelong relationship has shaped the heart-centred work I offer today.

As a certified Shinpiden Sensei in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, I have been practising Reiki since 2005 and teaching since 2021. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience, I approach every session with grounded insight, steady presence, and genuine respect for each person’s individual path.

Crystals have been a significant part of my own healing and self-discovery. Their influence inspired me to create a three-part workshop series that supports others in building intuitive, meaningful relationships with crystals and in incorporating them into their daily lives.

I currently offer in-person Reiki sessions at The Hallow Spiritual Wellness Center, welcoming clients from all backgrounds and levels of experience. Whether you are stepping into energy work for the first time or exploring it more deeply, you will find a safe, supportive space to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.

I am also the creator of Rowan Goddess, a line of handcrafted spiritual energy-clearing products, altar sprays, and candles. Each piece is crafted with intention, care, and purpose to support your rituals and overall energetic wellbeing.

Shadow Maven - Local Author

Shadow Maven is a Canadian author, educator, and practitioner of the healing arts, based in Penticton, British Columbia. With over two decades of experience exploring ancient runes, metaphysics, and spiritual practices, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her work. Holding a diploma in early childhood education, Shadow Maven has dedicated much of her life to inspiring children and fostering their growth.

Her publications, including Runes: The Elder Futhark for Kids and The Crystal Alphabet, introduce young readers to the world of runes and crystals, blending education with metaphysical insights. Beyond writing, she is a Reiki Master and shadow worker, passionate about painting, tarot, and envisioning a serene cottage in the woods. She resides in Penticton with her daughter.

Laurel Glenn - Palmist & Clinical Hypnotherapist

Laurel Glenn is a self-taught Chirologist (Palm reader) and certified clinical hypnotherapist based in the South Okanagan. With over a decade of experience, she offers palmistry readings and hypnotherapy sessions at metaphysical fairs, wellness events, and private appointments across British Columbia. Laurel holds the SAN'YAS Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Certificate and frequently participates in First Nations Community Wellness Events. Her passion for palmistry began at the age of 16, leading her to explore the stories our hands can tell. After a 35-year career in nursing, she transitioned into hypnotherapy in 2017, helping clients achieve inner harmony and personal growth. Additionally, Laurel is an accomplished artist, with her Celtic Goddess oil and watercolor paintings exhibited at The Hallow in Penticton.

Alex MacRae - Tarot Reader, Soul Medium & NER Practitioner

With over 30 years of experience, Alex is a powerful guide for those seeking clarity, alignment, and spiritual transformation. Her journey began in the 1980s, learning from traditional Elders and Knowledge Keepers in British Columbia. These early teachings rooted her in spiritual integrity, energy awareness, and a deep commitment to community care.

Throughout the 1990s, Alex expanded her training in Tucson, Arizona, becoming a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Meditation Teacher, and Neuro Emotional Release (NER) practitioner. She has also explored and integrated energy-based healing modalities long before they were widely recognized.

At The Hallow, Alex offers deeply intuitive Tarot and Soul Mediumship Readings as well as Neuro Emotional Release (NER) sessions.
